"And fore and aft sections though commodious are finely tuned for performance across all polars up and downwind in all weathers, just as are the foils are similarly finely tuned, all key influencers in not just performance but ease of handling and safekeeping.”

Gillian Brown of Wetzels Brown Partners says, "Contest so perfectly meets the current mood for the blended purpose of bluewater and local day-sailing. It’s a true pleasure to design and style a Contest for this mixed use.
"Whilst maintaining the relaxed style and focus on eased maintenance and upkeep in this new yacht, we have introduced several new features to enjoy the additional space created by the architects.
"In addition to this we introduce new methods of lighting and ventilation: larger and more hatches and windows combined with perimeter lighting around ceilings, furniture and steps.
"You will also find new raised surface stowage and our craftsmen-made, bigger-radiused joinery work. All still with high sea-safety standards, as you may expect from a Contest."
