THE VERY BEST OF DUTCH FINESSE
Contest Yachts has a long established reputation for first-class, easily managed performance bluewater cruisers, and our award winning 55CS celebrates everything that's best about our six full decades .
Through the years we’ve of course seen much change in thinking and building practice to the point today where Contest yachts exemplify a greater focus on performance as well as refined onboard comfort. This we do together with our collaborative partners: judel/vrolijk & co for naval architecture, Wetzels Brown Partners for interior design, and compliance and classification with the world-renowned Lloyd’s Register.
We also design, engineer and build to make living aboard easy. Not just in cabin arrangements but in the construction of every element. Furnishings are refined but equally robust. Hand-finished surfaces incredibly smooth and tactile yet really tough. Corners are radiused to prevent injury, and everything fits tight so there's not a rattle. And underway so quiet. You'll experience all this and more on the 17-metre, luxury, European Yacht of the Year winning three-cabin Contest 55CS.
